Block B’s Zico has made a comeback with his new song “SPOT! (feat.JENNIE)”.
Today (26th), Block B’s Zico released “SPOT! (feat.JENNIE)” and the music video was also released. The song is a hip-hop number in which Jennie participated as a feature, and it contains a simple moment between two friends who happened to meet at a party late at night.
He is making a comeback for the first time in about 1 year and 9 months since the mini-album “Grown Ass Kid” released in July 2022, and he shared his thoughts on his comeback through his agency KOZ Entertainment.
Zico said, “I still can’t believe that our full-fledged comeback activities are starting.I hope that the people who have been waiting for the new song will be happy. I thought, ‘I’ve completed it,”’ he said with confidence.
He went on to explain, The attractive points of this song are the intuitive enjoyment of the simple arrangement and the exquisite chemistry created by the two artists, Zico and Jenny.'' He added,I wanted to create a song that I wouldn’t get tired of even if I listened to it over and over again.I reduced unnecessary elements and put emphasis on the parts I wanted to emphasize.”
In the music video, Zico is seen having fun dancing with his friends on the streets at night. The image of him having fun in an open car with Jenny is also impressive.
Zico, who will be celebrating his 10th anniversary since his solo debut this year, plans to continue his energetic activities starting with the release of a new song. KBS 2TV’s “THE SEASONS – Zico’s Artist,” in which Zico was selected as MC, will be broadcast for the first time in Korea at 10 pm today, the day the new song is released. On this day’s broadcast, he will perform his new song “SPOT! (feat.JENNIE)” for the first time.
