Today (29th), the audience rating research company Nielsen Korea announced that the final episode of the TVN Saturday and Sunday drama “Queen of Tears” aired in South Korea on the 28th had an audience rating of 24.9%, based on the national standard for paying households. The number reached a personal high of 28.4% based on metropolitan area households, marking a successful conclusion.
The film is about Hong Hae-in (Kim Ji-won), the third generation of the Queen’s Group conglomerate and the queen of department stores, and Baek Hyun-woo (Kim Soo-hyun), the son of the village head of Yongdu-ri and the prince of a supermarket. This work depicts a love story that begins again like a miracle and a crisis.
The final episode recorded the highest viewership rating of any tvN drama in history. Initially, Crash Landing on You'' (21.7%), which starred Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin and was written by screenwriter Park Ji-eun, was ranked number one in tvN drama viewer ratings.
