New merchandise featuring newly drawn illustrations from the TV anime “Kuroko’s Basketball” will be available for pre-order starting September 4, 2024, on the ‘Anique Shop’ online store.
“Kuroko’s Basketball,” originally a basketball manga serialized in “Weekly Shonen Jump,” started its TV anime broadcast in 2012. The anime was produced across three seasons and was also adapted into a hit theatrical film.
The newly drawn illustrations feature the protagonist Tetsuya Kuroko, along with Taiga Kagami, Ryota Kise, Shintaro Midorima, Daiki Aomine, Atsushi Murasakibara, and Seijuro Akashi. Each character is dressed in a pristine white shirt, set against a background painted in their image colors with brushstrokes. The canvas-themed illustrations are sure to draw attention.
The “Trading Jewel Can Badges” (7 types in total) feature a matte texture that adds an elegant touch. Original icons and motifs are finished with a special processing that resembles paint application. Priced at 550 yen per pack, or 3,850 yen for a box containing 7 pieces. The “Trading Acrylic Keyholders” (7 types in total) pair character parts with palette-like icon parts, enhancing the transparency of acrylic and the colorful illustrations. Priced at 660 yen per pack, or 4,620 yen for a box containing 7 pieces.
