“ONE PIECE” is a massively popular comic representing Japan, with Eiichiro Oda starting its serialization in “Weekly Shonen Jump” in 1997, boasting a worldwide cumulative circulation of over 500 million copies. The story follows the grand adventures of the Straw Hat crew, led by protagonist Monkey D. Luffy, as they seek the legendary treasure “One Piece” left behind by the “Pirate King” Gol D. Roger.
The TV anime began broadcasting in 1999 and celebrated its 25th anniversary in October 2024. The commemorative event “ONE PIECE EMOTION,” following the Tokyo and Kumamoto venues (ended), is being held at Nagashima Spa Land in Mie Prefecture from March 15th. The exhibition allows visitors to experience the world of “ONE PIECE,” focusing on the Wano Country and Egghead arcs, while looking back on the 25th anniversary.
Zoro is the first member of the Straw Hat crew and a swordsman trusted by Luffy. Castem, a precision casting manufacturer in Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture, has commercialized the “Zoro Chopstick Rests” using its unique precision casting technology. Two types, the stainless steel “Tiger Hunt Chopstick Rest” and “Extreme Tiger Hunt Chopstick Rest,” are available.
Both chopstick rests reproduce Zoro’s upper body in three dimensions. By placing two chopsticks on them, Zoro’s techniques “Tiger Hunt” and “Extreme Tiger Hunt” are completed.
