“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” is a manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, published in Shueisha’s “Jump Comics.” The series has sold over 150 million copies in 23 volumes. It tells the story of Tanjiro Kamado, a young boy whose family is killed by demons. Tanjiro joins the “Demon Slayer Corps” to turn his demon-transformed sister, Nezuko, back into a human.
The anime series began with the TV anime “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc” in 2019, followed by the movie “Mugen Train Arc” in 2020 and the TV anime “Mugen Train Arc” and “Entertainment District Arc” from 2021 to 2022. In 2023, a “World Tour Screening of ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’ featuring the Upper Ranks and the Village of Swordsmiths” has been released, and the TV anime “Swordsmith Village Arc” began airing in April.
The “Tokitou Muichirou PV” released on the YouTube “Jump Channel” was made to celebrate Muichirou’s birthday on August 8. The PV focuses on the “mist” that Muichirou carries clearing up.
