ចម្រៀងប្រធានបទ ‘Gundam SEED FREEDOM’ ចំណងជើង ‘FREEDOM’
Approximately 20 years after the original “Gundam SEED Series,” the completely new work was released in 353 theaters nationwide (including one closed theater) on January 26. In its opening weekend from January 26 to January 28, the film attracted 634,000 visitors and grossed 1.065 billion yen, making it the number one hit of 2024 in terms of box office and audience numbers. It surpassed the 2021 release of “Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway’s Flash,” marking the best start ever for the Gundam series.
New scene photos, including seven new cuts, have also arrived. The film features scenes of the Rising Freedom Gundam and Immortal Justice Gundam fighting together, Shin enjoying a meal, Athrun with a stern expression, the familiar character Muu from the SEED series, along with the new character Orphe, and other popular characters. The inclusion of Z’Gok, which has been a topic of conversation, can also be seen in the film. The culmination of various characters’ emotions and the unfolding story is something to be experienced in theaters.
