A re-animation of Gosho Aoyama’s manga “YAIBA” has been announced.
The poster and a comment from Gosho Aoyama will be published in the 24th issue of Weekly Shonen Sunday, which will be released on May 8th.
“YAIBA” was made into a TV anime in 1993 under the title “Kenyu Densetsu YAIBA” (broadcast on the TV Tokyo network). This time, it will be re-animated for the first time in about 30 years.

The main character is Kurogane Yaiba, a wild samurai who grew up in the jungle, and depicts his serious battles with his rivals and his adventures over the “legendary magic sword.”
