Sony Interactive Entertainment has launched the PC version of “God of War Ragnarok” on September 20th, available on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
This version brings the epic narrative of the legendary Spartan warrior, Kratos, and his son Atreus, as they journey through a mythological world in the shadow of the prophesied apocalypse, Ragnarok. Originally designed for PS5 and PS4, this PC adaptation has been optimized to deliver the same intense experience.
The game was celebrated at The Game Awards 2022, winning multiple accolades including Best Action/Adventure, Best Narrative, and Best Performance.
Additionally, the epilogue DLC, “God of War Ragnarok: Valhalla,” is also available for play alongside the main game. Inspired by the roguelite genre, this DLC challenges Kratos on a quest for self-improvement as he faces the trials of Valhalla. Players will need to master various uses of Kratos’s weapons to overcome new enemy combinations and unexpected turns in this challenging expansion.
