About 1,200,000 tourists attended the first day of the Water Festival on November 26, while the number of crimes committed was low, Phnom Penh authorities confirmed.
During the first day of the festival, health officials provided first aid to 1,674 people, and among those treated 243 were women while one person was admitted to hospital.
Authorities found six people who were lost while two others remain missing.
Nine racing boats sunk, and authorities had to rescue 198 oarsmen.

Phnom Penh authorities confirmed that on the occasion of the first day of the Water Festival, there were about 1,200,000 national and international tourists came to visit Phnom Penh, while the criminal situation did not occur significantly.
It said that in that day, the health officials provided first aid to a total of 1,674 people with health problems among those number there were 243 women while there is one people was sent to hospital.
It said that the authority have founded six people are sounded their while there are two people still are looking their relative yet.
The authorities of intervention force came to the rescue of nines oarsman of racing boats and rescuing a total of 198 riders safely.
This is according to the report issued by the sub-committee on protection, security, order, social order, traffic and rescue of sinking boats and patients as of November 26.

អាជ្ញាធរបានរកឃើញមនុស្ស៦នាក់ដែលបាត់ខ្លួន ខណៈ២នាក់ទៀតនៅបាត់ខ្លួន។
ទូកប្រណាំងចំនួន៩បានលិច ហើយអាជ្ញាធរត្រូវជួយសង្គ្រោះអ្នកប្រណាំងចំនួន១៩៨នាក់។

ប្រភពបន្តថា អាជ្ញាធរបានរកឃើញមនុស្ស៦នាក់ត្រូវបានគេស្តាប់ ខណៈមានមនុស្ស២នាក់ទៀតកំពុងស្វែងរកសាច់ញាតិនៅឡើយ ។
អាជ្ញាធរកម្លាំងអន្តរាគមន៍បានចុះទៅជួយសង្គ្រោះទូកប្រណាំង៩នាក់ និងជួយសង្គ្រោះអ្នកជិះសរុប១៩៨នាក់ដោយសុវត្ថិភាព ។
