“Mana’s Visions of Mana” marks the return of the classic fantasy RPG series “Mana,” after a hiatus of approximately 16 years. The story revolves around Val, a young man from the Fire Village of Tiana, who invites his childhood friend to a ceremony to summon Fyali. Every four years, Fyali travels to select a new Guardian of Mana, tasked with journeying to the Mana Tree. As the sun sets, Fyali appears before the chosen girl. Val, as a Soul Guardian, vows to protect his childhood friend, now chosen as the Guardian of Mana, embarking on a journey with the blessings of the villagers.
Originating in June 1991, the “Mana” series was initially conceived as a spin-off of the “FINAL FANTASY” series. Centered around themes of love related to “Mana” and the “Sacred Sword,” the action RPG series has crafted unique characters, captivating music, and combat that utilizes weapon traits, thereby establishing a distinctive world view. To date, the series has released 17 titles, with total global shipments and digital sales reaching 9 million units.
