The capsule toy manufacturer Qualia is turning an illustration of a certain Sengoku period warlord by illustrator Sattou into a three-dimensional figure. The “Nobunaga Shoulder Mascot Figure” is set to be released around mid-April 2024. As revealed in a post showing the evolution of the art style from 2011 to 2018, Sattou is not limited to this style of illustration. While possessing the skill to produce beautiful illustrations, the journey towards a better style led to deconstruction, gradually resulting in the exaggerated shoulder width in the art.
