The critically acclaimed series “The White Lotus” is adding new faces to its Season 3 lineup. The upcoming season will feature Walton Goggins (“The Shield”), Patrick Schwarzenegger (“The Staircase”), Sarah Catherine Hook (“Impeachment: American Crime Story”), Sam Nivola (“Maestro”), and Aimee Lou Wood (“Sex Education”).
They join the recently revealed cast that includes Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey, Miloš Biković, Leslie Bibb, Dom Hetrakul, Jason Isaacs, and Tayme Thapthimthon.
Additionally, Carrie Coon, known for her role in “The Gilded Age,” will be part of the new season.
Mike White, the creator and writer of the show, will also serve as the executive producer and director. Filming for the new season is set to begin in February, with locations in Koh Samui, Phuket, and Bangkok, Thailand.
CNN reported that the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and HBO have announced these filming locations, indicating that Season 3 is expected to air in 2025.
“The White Lotus” debuted on HBO in 2021. Its first season garnered 20 Emmy nominations and won ten awards, while the second season received 23 nominations and secured five wins. CNN and HBO are both under the Warner Bros. Discovery umbrella.
The first two seasons were set in luxury hotels in Hawaii and Sicily, maintaining the show’s theme of exploring high-end tourist destinations.
