The newly released opening cinematic for “Tekken 8” has set the stage for an epic showdown, with the announcement of Eddy Gordo as the inaugural DLC character for the first season, expected to launch in the spring. The game will further expand with three additional DLC characters, each making their debut in the subsequent seasons of summer, autumn, and winter.
The narrative unfolds with Kazuya Mishima, wielding the demonic forces as the face of G Corporation, vying for global domination. Meanwhile, Jin Kazama, wrestling with his internal demon lineage, is on a mission to obliterate this cursed bloodline. In a bid to confront his fate head-on, Jin challenges Kazuya, igniting a battle that escalates into a worldwide struggle.
“Tekken 8” is scheduled to hit PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC platforms on January 26, with a trial demo already available for fans.
