The TV anime “WIND BREAKER” has released its second key visual and main promotional video. Additionally, the cast has been expanded to include Kengo Kawanishi, Toshiyuki Toyonaga, and Ikumi Hasegawa, with details on the opening and ending theme songs also announced. A special preview event featuring the cast is scheduled for March 31, 2024, at Shinjuku Wald 9 in Tokyo.
“WIND BREAKER” is an anime adaptation of the delinquent manga by Niisato, currently serialized in the “Magazine Pocket” app of Weekly Shonen Magazine. It centers around Haruki Sakura, a first-year high school student who arrives in town aiming to conquer Fuurin High School, notorious for its delinquent students with the lowest academic scores but the highest prowess in fights. Haruki discovers that the school is part of a group known as “Boufuurin,” tasked with protecting the town. The series follows Haruki’s journey as he joins them in their battles to safeguard their home.
