GUCCI announced that it has appointed Yuzuru Hanyu, a leading figure skater in Japan, as a brand ambassador. Hanyu, who won Olympic gold medals in 2014 and 2018 and was awarded the People’s Honour Award in 2020 as the youngest recipient ever, has achieved numerous accomplishments. After turning professional in July 2022, he has been highly praised for activities beyond the realm of athletics, such as organizing ice shows and supporting the reconstruction of his hometown, Sendai. The collaboration between Hanyu, who continues to captivate the world with his innovative leaps, and the heritage maison GUCCI, is something to look forward to.
