Sega Sammy Holdings recently disclosed this information during the release of their financial results for March 2024. The game “Persona5: The Phantom X,” developed through a licensing agreement between Sega and China’s Perfect World, is crafted for iOS and Android platforms. It is developed under the supervision of Atlus’s Persona Studio and features an original story about a new group of Phantom Thieves, based on the world and fundamental settings of “Persona 5.”
The Chinese version of the game was launched on April 12, and the Korean version followed on April 18. While there had been no previous announcements regarding the game’s release in Japan, the financial report reveals plans are being made for both Japanese and global distribution.
