The grand “ONE PIECE DAY ’24,” a massive event gathering all things related to the ONE PIECE universe including manga, anime, movies, music, games, and merchandise, was held on August 10th and 11th, 2024. This article focuses on the events of the final day, August 11th—Day 2.
Now in its third year, “ONE PIECE DAY” expanded its scale by splitting the event into two venues at Makuhari Messe: an Exhibition Area and a LIVE Area. The Exhibition Area featured an open stage where the production staff of the new anime series “THE ONE PIECE,” which revisits the “East Blue” saga, was announced by WIT STUDIO.
Other notable events at the open stage included the “UT x ONE PIECE Special Stage,” “ONE PIECE Card Game Special Stage,” the “6th ONE PIECE Knowledge King Finals,” and a live recording of the radio program “Straw Hat Space” with various celebrity guests.
Day 2’s LIVE Area featured performances by Ado, BE:FIRST, Maki Otsuki, and Hiroshi Kitadani. Following the excitement of Day 1, the venue, which holds about 6,000 people, was filled with even more fervor, wrapping up the fans in sheer joy.
