Taiwan’s Koei Tecmo has announced that their new RPG “Fairy Tail 2” for PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Nintendo Switch™, and Steam® is set to release on December 12, 2024. Pre-orders for physical editions are now available, and the first promotional trailer and information on Asia-exclusive bonuses have been released.
In addition to the standard edition, two deluxe editions will be available: the “GUILD BOX” and the “COMBO SET.” The “GUILD BOX” includes the game itself, a replica of the magazine “Sorcerer Weekly” featured in the original anime, a special art book “Sorcerer Weekly Special Game Release Issue Vol.2” filled with game-related content, and a set of colorful autograph cards. The “COMBO SET” adds an exclusive canvas print signed by Hiro Mashima, the original creator, among other premium items.
A “Digital Deluxe” edition will also be available, featuring additional in-game costumes, scripts, characters, and other digital-exclusive content. More details on these digital bonuses will be announced later.
Early purchase bonuses include an in-game item, Lucy’s costume “Fairy Tail Miss Fairy Contest.” Additionally, an upcoming pre-order bonus for the digital version will be the in-game item Natsu’s costume “Edolas Natsu.”
