Developed by the renowned French studio Asobo, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is set to launch on November 19, 2024, for Xbox Series X|S and PC. The official announcement revealed that the alpha testing phase will begin in October, and applications for the test are now open.
The primary goal of this alpha test is to validate the new service features of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, including multiplayer functionality, 24-hour real-time air and sea traffic, and a list of careers and challenges. As a result, the available game content will be limited, and the test will only be accessible on the Windows PC (Windows Store) platform.
Additionally, the developers have provided a PC configuration requirements chart. The minimum specifications include a Ryzen 5 2600X or Core i7 6800K CPU and a Radeon RX 5700 or GTX 970 GPU. For the highest settings, a Ryzen 9 7900X or i7 14700K CPU along with a Radeon RX 7900 XT or GTX 4080 GPU will be required.
