The latest live-action film in the “Rohan Kishibe Does Not Move” series, titled Rohan Kishibe Does Not Move: Confession Room, will be released on May 23. New updates have been announced for the anime ONE PIECE. The opening theme for the Fish-Man Island Arc, currently airing, will change in January to a collaboration song titled “We Go! ~HIKAKIN & SEIKIN with Monkey D. Luffy ver.” performed by HIKAKIN and SEIKIN alongside Luffy.

The duo, who previously sang “We Are!” for the ONE PIECE MUUUSIC COVER ALBUM in 2020, have returned with an upgraded track featuring Luffy as a guest. Ahead of the anime broadcast on January 5, a special music video (MV) will premiere on HikakinTV, while SeikinTV will showcase an alternative version of “We Go!”.

The Fish-Man Island Arc has been condensed from its original 57 episodes into 21 episodes using the latest technology. The reanimation features refined lines, enhanced lighting and shadows for greater depth, and retouched scenes. This remastered version has been airing since October, serving as a lead-up to the Egghead Arc’s return on March 30 next year.

About My Hero Academia

The TV anime The Apothecary Diaries will begin airing its second season on January 10, 2025, with a two-cour broadcast. A new visual has been released, depicting Maomao and Jinshi taking a break with sake and osechi (New Year’s food). Additionally, a voice-acted mini-drama showcasing a competitive game of battledore and shuttlecock (hagoita) for sake has been unveiled, piquing curiosity about the outcome of the match.

The Apothecary Diaries is based on the novel series written by Natsu Hyuuga, which has surpassed 38 million copies in total. It is an engaging mystery set in an imperial palace during a medieval Eastern-inspired world. The story follows Maomao, a girl who works as a poison tester, as she solves various complex cases within the palace.

The first season of the anime, which premiered in October 2023, received significant attention, ranking highly on streaming platforms and winning a special award at the TVer Awards 2023. The second season, starting January 10, 2025, will feature the opening theme song Hyakka Ryoran by Rira Ikuta, further raising excitement for the upcoming release.

For the New Year, the newly released illustration shows Maomao in a festive outfit, drinking sake, while Jinshi leisurely enjoys osechi. Both characters have an X or O mark drawn in ink on their faces, reflecting their playful mood after the battledore match. This celebratory illustration, featuring festive attire, a traditional game, and New Year’s food, is perfect for ringing in the new year.
