Espada’s original IP, “Struggle F.O (Struggle For),” is an action RPG where the lost girl Josette (voiced by Kohmi Ohara) ventures into an SF fantasy world for the sake of human development. The game features intense combat akin to “Vampire Survivors,” where players strengthen themselves while fending off fierce attacks, and includes elements like breeding and base management in search of a safe haven. According to the currently available PV, the main illustrations are by artist Ixy.

The game features episodes where Ren-chan, who has transformed into a female body, faces various challenges. Unavoidable issues like clothing and restrooms are humorously presented, leading to moments that make players think, “Isn’t Ren-chan completely a girl now?” The portrayal is crafted with great care. Despite being a short-term service, I personally feel the game excellently captured the unique character of her (him). The announcement of this collaboration has been exciting news for former players, raising the question, “Can we meet Ren-chan again!?”

The game’s 1.10 version update is also set to go live on January 16th, which will include the first DLC character, new scenarios, Battle Pass Round 1, spectator experience improvements, bug fixes (no balance adjustments).

Furthermore, various esports competitions for this title are set to begin in January 2024. EVO JAPAN 2024 will also feature competitions for this game, scheduled for April 27-29, 2024.
